The Home Section of Chapters

Just because I still have four months before I actually move, doesn't mean I don't online window shop all time time. You know you're growing up when looking at all the house things you can't buy is just as fun as looking at all the clothes you can't buy. Luckily the collection at Chapters Indigo is super affordable, modern, and perfect for spring! Check out some of my favourite pieces for Spring 2016!
Old Navy Kids Clothes for Spring
Tuesday, March 8, 2016
Today is the first day that I really feel like it's spring. The weather is beautiful, I had to strip multiple layers off on the walk home from playgroup, and the sun is shining. In honour of us surviving winter, here are some of my favourite Spring Baby clothes from Old Navy.
Snow Baby
Wednesday, January 13, 2016
Seeing as I spend my days with a one-year old, and we spend our mornings at the community centre with a zillion other kids, I've been seeing a lot of baby snow gear these past few days. We finally got hit with some snow. Don't ask me how it was pushing the stroller through the unshoveled sidewalks. I don't want to talk about it... With that being said, there is something so adorable about all of these little humans bundled up so tightly they can't walk. Here are some of my favourite winter things for babies!
NYE
Monday, November 30, 2015
New Years Eve is for sequins and sparkles and things that you wouldn't wear the rest of the year. I know it's over a month away, but with all of the outfits already in the stores, it's hard not to start getting excited. It's also something that you need to plan in advance in regards of buying tickets to events or what not, so it's not a bad idea to get an early start on the outfit. I have no idea what I'm doing yet, but I may just buy a dress and figure out the plan after? Is that weird? Haha, here are some of my ideas!
Do you already have yours picked out? Send me a link, I want to see it!
Winter Gear
Wednesday, November 11, 2015
Snow is coming. Sooner rather than later. It's inevitable. To be honest I don't hate the winter or the snow, it's more the thought of it that sucks? Hard transition? Once it's here I'll be fine. Either way, the winter months are easier to handle when you are warm, yes? Yes. In Canada winter lasts basically half of the year, so its worth it to invest in your winter gear. I like window shopping via windows and the internet. Here are some options.
Winter 2015 Wishlist
Thursday, October 8, 2015
Some days are super warm, some days I can't find a coat warm enough. It's inevitable, winter is on it's way! The next couple of months I plan to spend as much time as possible cuddled up on couches in cozy clothes, with a good book and a smelly candle. When I have to go brave the elements? I need my feet to be toasty warm! I currently have the moccasins in chestnut, and the Ugg Bailey boots, but I've had my eye on these two lately… What is your winter must-have?
IKEA Catalogue
Friday, September 25, 2015
Remember when you were a kid and the Sears Christmas catalogue would come? It was so exciting and I would spend hours going through and deciding what I wanted, cutting the pictures out and gluing them on a piece of construction paper, resulting in my Christmas list.
Fast forward a few years. I can't say I feel that same excitement when I see a Sears catalogue now. The IKEA catalogues are a whole different story. I am constantly day dreaming about my future abode. I've always been excited to be a "grown-up" and have my own place. I absolutely love flipping through the catalog for inspiration.
Here are some that jumped out at me in the most recent one!
Do you have any recent Ikea purchases in your house? What do you think? Love or not so much?

Fall 2015 Wishlist
Monday, August 10, 2015
It has been the weirdest August since I got back from my trip. Fairly cold days and leaves on the ground have me thinking that Fall may be coming sooner than we think. I love Fall, the only bad part being how short the season lasts before winter takes over! This will also be my first September not going back to school! More time for snuggling in knee high socks by the

Summer 2015 Wishlist
Thursday, April 23, 2015
It snowed yesterday, and the snow is still there today. I can't deal with it so instead I've been browsing summer products and pretending its 30 degrees out and I'm on a beach. Soon enough I hope! What is your number one essential item this summer?
